Why I created The Baby Sleep Blueprint...
For over a decade, I worked as a nurse, owned my own practice, and in that time helped hundreds of families navigate those early, exhausting years. I was taught the science of sleep - but I also saw how often it was twisted to justify methods that didn’t feel right to parents, like “cry-it-out.”
When I became a mother myself. Suddenly, sleep wasn’t just theory anymore - it was my reality. I tried following the rules, I hired the consultants, I even listened when I was told to leave my baby to “sort it out.” And I’ll be honest: those moments broke me.
What I came to understand - through my nursing career, my three children, and my own recovery from postnatal anxiety - is this: baby sleep isn’t something we train, it’s something we support.
The truth is, guessing and stumbling along with baby sleep often leads to unnecessary stress, endless 2am Googling, and trial-and-error that leaves both you and your baby more unsettled. Parents waste precious energy trying to piece together conflicting advice - and in the process, their confidence takes a hit.
